Branding, what’s the big deal anyway?

Hey-having a brand IS a big deal to an entrepreneur- for any small or large business!  No, I don’t mean like a cattle branded so you know who it belongs to…Now, I come to think of it-it sorta is.

Well, I’m a solopreneur, I don’t  have mega bucks like 7-Up (brand), Coke (brand),Microsoft (brand) , Burger King (brand)…But we all want  to be known-have a brand name so folks know & can find us!

So, after talking to a branding/media expert, Suzanne Falter-Barns in her GetKnownNow-Blastoff class, I have a new-well, sorta, brand.  Ta-Dah!  I’m the Transition Chick!  That’s what I want to get known by.  I’m doing more internet marketing-shopping cart, etc…I was known as the Transitions Chick-hard to say, more importantly, find!

Transition is often searched and I am the Transition Chick.

My Get Hired Now! teleseries is a brand-I’m a certified licensee-their brand,not mine…  My friend & teacher, Rob Schultz, of AudaciousAudio.com is a brand.

I’m known now as the Transition Chick & re-branded everything-even my blogs!

As a small business, a solopreneur-what are you known for-what’s your brand?
